Reading Please regularly practice reading at home. This may be sharing a classroom text or story, a library book, or something fun that your child enjoys. Practice sight words and vocabulary words that the teacher sends home. We become better readers through practice.Thank you for helping with reading. |
Math Third graders need to learn times tables this year. Flash cards, drill, bribery... whatever it takes. If your child does not start to learn the multiplication facts early, then 3rd grade (and 4th grade and 5th grade) math will be more challenging than it needs to be. Practice, practice, practice!
